Nicole’s therapy style is: collaborative, somatic, and empowering.
I wholeheartedly believe that personal transformation is possible.
You have the power to heal and feel better and therapy can help.
You are the expert of your life experiences. My goal is to listen deeply, collaborate, and support you to find your unique path. I help you examine and make meaning of your current life circumstances. I’m here to encourage you as you gain clarity on what is important to you, create a plan, and move forward in alignment with your goals.
I work with people ages five and older. As a therapist, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Somatic Healing, Internal Family Systems, Yoga, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In our work together, I may also use play and creative therapies, mindfulness, and “Walk and Talk.”
My areas of focus include life transitions, identity, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and ADHD.
Central to my beliefs, and my training in public health and social work, is that what surrounds us shapes us. We can feel better and make different choices about our lives when we better understand ourselves, our families, friends, institutions, and the world. I am honored to work with you on your journey.
