Meet Amanda Rutledge

Amanda's therapy style is validating, connective, and attachment-based.

Amanda Rutledge
Pronouns: she/her

I provide in-person and virtual talk therapy for individuals ages 13 and older. Many of my clients seek support for anxiety and challenges within their interpersonal relationships. My work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with awareness, safety, and connection.

In therapy, I help clients notice and strengthen the space between stimulus and response. By cultivating awareness of physiological and emotional cues, we create room for choice. This pause allows clients to respond in ways that align with their values rather than their fears, particularly in moments of anxiety or relational distress.

My work is informed by Attachment Theory and implemented through Emotionally Focused Therapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology, integrating an understanding of how early relational experiences shape our nervous system, emotional patterns, and ways of connecting with others. I also draw from Gestalt Therapy.

I value an integrative approach because it is both practical and deeply human. By increasing awareness, strengthening emotional attunement, and fostering secure connection, clients develop greater agency in how they navigate stress, anxiety, and their most important relationships.
